We’re so proud to call Grand Rapids home in part because of the amazing events available to the community. Check out our top 7 events for Grand Rapids in September:

GR End of Summer Soiree (September 7)

cocktails

Hosted by GR Fashion Show at CityFlats Hotel, this event celebrates all things summer. Put on your best cocktail attire and make a date out of it. Whether you’re having a night out with friends, a significant other or you’re ready to mingle, enjoy the food, drinks, dancing and displays from vendors. It’s only for guest 21 and older though, so you better not bring the kids.

Perrin Brewing Co. Backyard Bash (September 8)

A 21+ event at a brewery? Shocker! This one will be loads of fun with vendors, outdoor games (including a corn hole tournament!), live music, and even a cigar rolling lounge.

Grand Rapids Symphony’s Beethoven’s 7th (September 14-15)

This one is for the Michiganders who enjoy the finer things in life. Originally conducted by Beethoven for soldiers wounded in battle, this moving piece contributed to the film score for “The King’s Speech.” If you’re looking for a classy night out in downtown GR, you’ll want to be at Devos Performance Hall with Grand Rapids Symphony.
